I am currently enmeshed in two vastly different, and much the same, beautiful churches. One meets with hymn books in hand and name tags and a sea of grey hair, the other meets in a surf club with waves of water outside and waves of little children within. And the Lord is drawing me into a deeper love for his body here in this place and time through these communities that speak different dialects of the one rich, ancient language.
